When you install the app from the Microsoft AppSource / Marketplace, the Hi5 workspace functions as a dedicated hub inside your Teams interface. It consists of three primary areas:
The Side Panel (Wall of Fame & Navigation): Offers quick visual access to team birthdays, the active company values list, and monthly leaderboards.
The Main Workspace Window: Displays the active recognition feed where users can see, back, and comment on “Hi5s” given across departments.
The Information Panel: Displays weekly recognition counts, shortcuts to engagement centers, and quick views of administrative pulses. Toolbar Controls & Core Actions

Accessing and Pinning the WorkspaceTo keep the workspace toolbar accessible, click the three dots (…) on the left-hand navigation rail in Teams, search for Hi5, click add, and then right-click the icon to Pin it.
Giving a Recognition (The 5-Step Flow)When initiating a Hi5 through the bot or the workspace, you must complete the required flow: select your co-worker, type your positive message, tag specific company values, optionally attach an image, and submit.
Managing Your QuotaThe application gives each user a fresh batch of 5 “Hi5s” every week (resetting at midnight on Sundays). Use your workspace counter to track how many allocations you have remaining before the week ends.
Bot Command ShortcutsBy navigating to your personal Hi5 chat workspace, typing and sending ‘help’ will prompt the app to reveal diagnostic tools, quick-tour features, notification settings, and sign-out buttons.
